Description of the Assignment: 


The Consultant will be expected to work with the relevant partners in the execution of the assignment to achieve the agreed upon deliverables. These entities will include the Commission on Human rights and Public Administration; The National Mechanism on reporting and follow up; the National AIDS Council (NERCHA); Key Populations Civil society partners including the Rock of Hope Eswatini, Health Plus for Men, Tran-Swati, Voice of our voices (VOOV) and Eswatini Sexual and Gender Minorities. The successful candidate will be expected to facilitate the development of knowledge products on and dissemination of the recently developed above mentioned strategic documents on key populations. The consultant will also work closely with relevant civil society partners and national Mechanism on reporting and follow up towards implementation of their plan ensuring focus on gender and gender minority groups. Additionally, the consultant will work to document the activities conducted to monitor and ensure that lessons learnt are well captured to inform future endeavors.


The ideal Candidate should poses the below;


  1. Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Human Rights, Development Studies, Social Sciences, gender studies, gender and development, public administration, social work,
  2. Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience in the technical area of Advocacy, human rights work, development of strategic documents for advocacy.

 

Period of assignment/services: 4 Months.
