---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This year, UNDP Pakistan launched its latest National Human Development Report 2024 in Islamabad on Doing Digital for Development: Access, Adopt, Anticipate, Accelerate. In an increasingly interconnected world, the integration of digital technologies has the power to bridge gaps, empower communities, and drive economic growth. The NHDR 2024 argues that without equitable access to digital technology, Pakistan’s human development outcomes will remain low and under-served. The Report produced the first ever Digital Development Index for Pakistan, equipping the country with the data to produce a digital transformation policy framework in line with human development outcomes.

The post-launch phase of the NHDR aims to continue building momentum on Pakistan’s digital development agenda by convening a national dialogue based on the Report’s findings. In addition, building on the recommendations of the Report, UNDP is preparing a new digital for development service offer. UNDP aims to disseminate the key findings of the NHDR, the new digital service offer and convene dialogues on digital transformation with stakeholders by holding NHDR advocacy and stakeholder engagement events across the country. NHDR events will be held in all provinces/special regions of Pakistan, engaging and building new partnerships with stakeholders including the federal and provincial government, academia, development partners, private sector, the tech and innovation ecosystem and the youth.

In this context, UNDP is seeking services of a firm that has strong expertise in stakeholder engagement and mobilization, community building, and partnership development. The firm should possess extensive networks and relationships across the country with diverse stakeholders who can be engaged for relevant events. Moreover, the firm should demonstrate experience in designing, planning and managing engaging and interactive events that effectively mobilize stakeholders. Finally, the firm should exhibit strong communications and outreach capabilities, including engaging mainstream media and journalists, conducting successful social media campaigns and designing and disseminating outreach materials.
