Duration: 12 months with the possibility of 1 year extension for up to 3 years based on demand, satisfactory performance, and budget availability  

Description of the Assignment:  

Under the guidance of the assigned direct supervisor the Web Developer will provide support to the following

• Development of the Digital Hub website and related online platforms.
• Knowledge management support.
• Technology support.
• Graphic design support.
• Layout and structuring in the DRUPAL Backend for all website sessions.
• Coordination and management of forms for new files in the region.
• Administration and Configuration of the Website https://www.undp.org/latin-america/digitalhub4
• Website content update and SEO review.
• Main Slider or Banner Update
• Update of new files in the ONEDRIVE repository
• Backup of all website content to ONEDRIVE
• Publication of Mixed files (Projects, Blog, Events...) from the entire LATAM region and the Caribbean
• Ensure the website is fully optimized for mobile devices, with a responsive design and specific functionalities to improve the user experience on smartphones and tablets.
• Use personalization tools and techniques to offer specific and relevant content to each user, based on their preferences, browsing history and behavior on the website.
• Publish and Manage Event Tickets on the Website
• Graphic design for Blog Sheets 

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline. August 9th, 2024 @ 15.00 EST (New York Time). If there is a discrepancy between this deadline and the closing date indicated in the portal, then the portal's closing date is the valid closing date

Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.
