Description of the Assignment: The national consultant will focus on preparing the necessary research document for this study. This initiative aligns with the broader goals of a2i, enhancing the inclusivity and effectiveness of public service delivery. A brief work description is outlined as follows:

·      Conduct a desk review on national disability inclusion policies, frameworks, and current states in relation to the digital landscape and ICT policies to outline a sectoral-based accessibility assessment.

·      Review technical assessments of e-learning platforms, public service delivery (e.g., GRS), telecommunication, and banking to finalize and integrate findings into the overall assessment.

·      Outline the study, work approach, and plan, including a list of stakeholders for Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and multi-stakeholder consultations.

·        Analyze primary and secondary data and synthesize the findings to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

This assignment is part of a broader effort to ensure that digital transformation in Bangladesh is inclusive, reaching all segments of society, and particularly addressing the needs of persons with disabilities.

Period of assignment/services: 40 (Forty) working days over three months.
