Description of the Assignment: The overall objective is to provide an understanding of whether gender inequalities persist in the CHT and its causes, and how it intersects with other inequalities in the climate change risks and biodiversity conservation sectors in the CHT. The gender analysis will also determine how gender indicators reduce overall gender inequalities through project interventions.

Specific objectives of the assignment of the National Consultant are as follows:

· To intensively assess gender gaps and gender concerns for achieving gender equality and women empowerment specifically in the areas of climate risk reduction through adaptation and biodiversity conservation in CHT.

· To draw recommendations based on the major findings derived from the gender analysis and draft the gender analysis report.

· Support drafting the gender strategies on both climate change risk reduction, adaptation, and biodiversity conservation in CHT of ERRD-CHT, UNDP.

 

Period of assignment/services: 40 days over a period of 3 (three) months

 

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
