Introduction

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Uzbekistan and other UN Agencies represented in Uzbekistan organize numerous conferences, workshops, seminars, meetings and retreats ("Events") in pursuit of its work in the region. 

Types of events include, but not limited to:

1. Conferences;

2. Corporate events;

3. Award shows;

4. Digital events;

5. Social events;

6. High-level Events.

To achieve cost efficiency from economies of scale while ensuring outstanding quality of services, UNDP will consolidate all Events Management requirements of UN Agencies represented in Uzbekistan and enter into a common arrangement with up to three service provider. To this end, UNDP will award and sign Long-Term Arrangements (LTA) for one year with a possible extension for 2 years with up to three service providers for Event Management Services. The LTA will be managed by UNDP in Uzbekistan. Other UN Agencies represented in Uzbekistan with the concurrence of UNDP can use the LTA on the same terms and conditions. These agencies include UNICEF, UNFPA, UNESCO, UNODC, FAO, WHO, and other agencies. Each other agency will be responsible for making requests and discussing specific requirements; and UNDP will not bear any contractual responsibility for such arrangements. The service provider(s) shall provide high-quality services, and prompt and accurate professional support services to UN Agencies in full compliance with this Terms of Reference.
