Introduction

Long Term Agreement - UN House Repairs and Maintenance Services 

 

                                                                                                                                                                       

UNDP on behalf of United Nations Agencies in Lesotho seeks to procure services of a competent and legally operating company registered in Lesotho, to provide efficient repair and maintenance of the UN House in accordance with the specific terms of reference and the General UNDP Contractual Terms and Conditions. 

The UN House built in 1994 is a symmetrical building that occupies an area of 5541 m2 distributed over 5 floors, with 2 elevators and 3 staircases. Approximately 210 staff members work in the building during any given day with approximately +/- 50 visitors accessing the building during any given day. 

The area consists of but not limited to: 

• 5 floor story building with offices, common areas, kitchens and a reception area. 

• 8 female and 8 male toilets and 10 individual bathrooms 

• One Conference Hall and Meeting rooms. 

• Outside compound within fence (Garden with parking area) plus Guards rooms. 

• 3 staircases. 

• 1 Cafeteria and kitchen

Specific Objectives 

The contractor shall provide repair, maintenance, services for the following categories in the UN House:  

1. General Maintenance (Carpentry /Glass works/Handyman) 

2. Plumbing  

3. Electrical System 

4. Handyman 

5. Masonry 

Qualified companies should prove in their offer using sustainable maintenance techniques and equipment.
