The main objective of this engagement is: Development of an experts’ assessment for the establishment of the Prenj protected area at the territory of the City of Konjic with the aim of increasing the network of protected areas in the Federation of BiH (hereinafter referred to as FBiH) and strengthening the support for the protection of biological and landscape diversity, in accordance with the Federal Environmental Protection Strategy and Action Plan.

Achieving the goal of this engagement will be realized through the following series of activities:

• Task 1. Inception activities
• Task 2. Field research
• Task 3. Development of a habitat map
• Task 4. Development of a spatial database
• Task 5. Engagement of the local community, non-governmental sector and relevant sectors, communication, and promotion
• Task 6. Preparation of the main results of this assignment
