Introduction

UNDP’s Regional Bureau for Africa has entered Phase II (The Execution Phase) of the initiative and is seeking a Communications Firm on a part-time basis. The Communications Firm is responsible for creating and producing visual communication products for timbuktoo and its projects upon demand. He/she works in close collaboration with the Communications and Laison Analyst and the Partnerships, Advocacy and Communications Team (PACT).

 Specifically, the Communications Firm will:

 

·         Design and create an effective set of branding guidelines to define timbuktoo’s visual identity.

·         Provide editorial/design inputs to enhance web pages, brochures, fact sheets, toolkits and other communication materials.

·         Create social media assets to convey key messages in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner.

·         Produce timbuktoo videos.

·         Work closely with the Communications and Laison Analyst to gain an understanding of what is needed for the different workstreams and stakeholders of timbuktoo both at a global and country level.

·         Design new, and update existing, social media banners, content etc. to reflect timbuktoo branding and style guidelines.

·         Produce drafts for review by the Communications and Laison Analyst / timbuktoo team and make revisions based on the feedback received.

·         Design and upload communication products to the timbuktoo subsite

·         Review final productions and ensure that all deliverables reflect the team specifications.
