Introduction

Description of the Assignment:  

Under the supervision of the Director of the Sustainable Energy Hub, the Specialist will be responsible for the following activities:

 1.       Design for Knowledge Products

   o    Creating and designing reports that effectively communicate case studies, UNDP or regional strategy, and program progress and results using effective visualization techniques like charts and infographics to make complex information accessible. Structuring reports in a visually appealing format, ensuring consistency and clarity, and incorporating feedback to ensure accuracy and relevance.

   o    Creating internal and external presentation materials to effectively communicate with various stakeholders includes developing slides based on thorough research, collaborating with researchers to gather accurate content, and designing visually engaging presentations that ensure clarity and professionalism

 

       2.       SEH Visual Identity

   o    Developing and enhancing visual assets that define the Sustainable Energy Hub's brand identity and narrative. This includes designing icons, logos, and other graphic elements, and improving the visual appeal by creating a cohesive visual identity across all materials, such as the website. The focus is on creating memorable visual symbols, crafting visual stories that communicate the SEH's mission and impact, and keeping every detail up to date.

   o    Improve existing templates for all Sustainable Energy Hub knowledge products, presentations, documents, and policy briefs.

   o    Develop a library of media (photos, videos, and curated graphics) related to the project for content tracking and development, aligned with SEH visual identity.

 

       3.       Graphics and Media

   o    Creating educational and training materials for the Sustainable Energy Academy, including images, infographics, graphic presentations, certificates, badges, and related promotional materials. The goal is to provide high-quality, engaging content that educates and informs participants, supports learning objectives, and promotes the academy's programs. This also involves coordination and collaboration with the visual studio to produce content that aligns with SEH's identity

   o    Content production of original multimedia materials including infographics, animations, social media content, ensuring brand consistency across all materials to strengthen the program's visual identity.

 Period of assignment/services:

Estimated level of effort 250 working days over 12 months.
