Introduction
Individual Consultancy to support the Environment and Resilience Cluster to develop a project document for the current CPD cycle
The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks/activities:
1.1 Document Preparation:
- Prepare detailed inception report including a workplan and methodology for the assignment.
- Review submissions from respective IPs.
- Finalize and facilitate a 2 days retreat workshop agenda with Cluster Staff & IPs.
- Create a structured outline and document framework for the content of the Project document (Prodoc).
1.2 Content Development:
- Guide IPs to refine content submissions in a timely manner.
- Consolidate, edit, and proofread the document's content.
- Organize information in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to incorporate technical content accurately.
- Prepare a detailed Multi-Year Workplan, M&E Plan, Risk & Mitigation Plan, Programme Quality Assurance and Social and Environmental Screening Procedure (SESP) using UNDP PPM Templates.
1.3 Document Finalization:
- Create an executive summary or abstract for the Prodoc, if required.
- Ensure proper citation and references for any external sources used in the document
1.4 Prodoc Validation (Review and Feedback):
- Prepare a validation workshop with IPs
- Seek feedback from UNDP and key stakeholders.
- Make necessary revisions and improvements to the document based on feedback.
1.5 Prodoc LPAC & PSC Preparation:
- Prepare and facilitate a day’s Local Project Appraisal Committee (LPAC) meeting in collaboration with the Environment Cluster
- Incorporate comments from the LPAC meeting into the Prodoc.
- Finalized Prodoc and submit to UNDP
- Prepare a PowerPoint Presentation about the project in preparation for the first Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting

Period of assignment/services : 35 working days
