Introduction :
The Badia Restoration Program (BRP)/Ministry of Environment in collaboration with the Jordan Cooperative Corporation (JCC), had established and endorsed in total 32 Rangeland cooperatives organizing livestock herders to facilitate conveying support to local communities and to enhance the sustainability of the rangeland management. The government approached UNDP to develop the conceptual design and all related studies to ensure that the project would effectively achieve the target. To do so, UNDP has developed a nature-based and eco-friendly conceptual design and all related construction plans through a qualified engineering office. UNDP under this project will be seeking a qualified engineering construction company to implement the construction works in accordance with the designs under the supervision of engineering consultancy firm (to be hired) and the UNDP and end-user engineering teams.
