Introduction

The main goal under this Call for Proposals is to improve business management practices of the local agro-processing enterprises through package of consultations, training programs, and finance matchmaking..

The proposed initiative is to be implemented in cities and districts of Khatlon, Sughd, and Dushanbe region of Tajikistan, involving the women owned or women dominated agro-enteprises. The support will be provided to the following beneficiary categories:

  • Small and medium-holder farmers and farming units;
  • Small and medium enterprises (SMEs), businesses, farming cooperatives, traders (wholesalers, retailers), private individual and/or other entrepreneurs;
  • Informal Interest groups with home-based raw skills and processing capacities;

Advantage is given to those group who have one or more of the following: (a) competitive and qualified project ideas, (b) any relevant experience, raw skills and capacities that can be categorized as scalable initiative, (c) interest to establish, launch and/or formalize business ideas but have no access to required technical expertise, initial financing, and networking within and outside their regions.

If you are interested in submitting a proposal in response to this CFP, please prepare your proposal in accordance with the requirements and procedure as set out in this CFP and submit it by the deadline for submission of proposals set out in the supplier portal of Quantum Procurement Online System. Applicants shall submit separate technical and financial proposals. The Technical Component of the proposal shall follow the format indicated in Annex 4.

This will enable the system to send notifications in case of amendments of the tender requirements.
