Description of the Assignment: Individual Consultant to Support the National Council for Law Reporting (NCLR) to compile and edit the Law Reports of the Gambia (February 2017 – December 2021 and Cyclostyled series from 1963 – 1978) 

 

Period of assignment/services : 180 working days over 6 months

 

SCOPE OF THE WORK

The Consultant (Editor) will review, compile, edit and present in publishable format the Law Reports of the Gambia. This will include the Cyclostyled series of The Gambia Law Reports from 1963 – 1978 and the backlog of unreported decisions from February 2017 – December 2021.

 At a minimum, the Consultant will perform the following tasks:

1.    Develop a detailed assessment report outlining the requirements and framework for the Law Reports.

2.    Compilation and editing process to ensure accuracy and consistency.

3.    Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to gather necessary legal documents and materials.

4.    Prepare the Law Reports in a format suitable for printing and dissemination.

5.    Ensure the final law reports meet the highest standards of legal publishing.

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
