Introduction

Description of the Assignment:  

The TCCH works to provide a mutually acceptable mechanism for the implementation of practical measures for the proper preservation, physical protection and restoration (including research, study and survey) of the immovable cultural heritage of Cyprus. In 2012, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) initiated with the implementation of the initially European Union (EU) funded “Support to Cultural Heritage Monuments of Great Importance for the Communities in Cyprus” – Phase 1 and since then it has continued with the successful implementation of the EU funded projects; Phases 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Sine 2021 communities through the TCCH have been contributing to cultural heritage projects implemented by UNDP. As of today three phases have been implemented. Within the framework of the above listed projects the recruitment of Cultural Heritage Consultant for the TCCH projects is required.

 

Period of assignment/services: 24 months
