Description of the Assignment: Individual National Consultancy for the design, supervision, and water quality (with emphasis on iron content) testing of a Solar Water Production Facility in collaboration with the Department of Water Resources.

 

Period of assignment/services: Six (6) months to be completed within nine (9) months contract duration

SCOPE OF THE WORK

The services of a Design and Supervision Consultant is required to embark on project site visits to engage the Kerewan and Kuntaur Area Councils and discuss with NAWEC for a decision on the options highlighted in the recommendations and roadmap in the assessment report. This will guide the design of the specifications and detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for the construction of the two SPWDS-Boreholes in Kerewan and Kuntaur, testing of water iron content in collaboration with the Department of Water Resources. The consultant would also be required to supervise and ensure the quality of the construction of the contractors from start to end. Please refer to the Terms of Reference for more details.
