Description of the Assignment:  The project is seeking to hire a Consultant as a Biodiversity and Ecosystems Specialist to lead and/or support activities to integrate and expand biodiversity and ecosystem conservation approaches in key identified watersheds, agriculture systems and other production landscapes. These measures should complement and strengthen climate-smart agriculture and sustainable land management efforts. The work of the Consultant is expected to provide an overall context and enabling environment for more efficient, effective and impactful biodiversity monitoring. The Consultant will also contribute to the development of various communications and knowledge management products on biodiversity/ecosystems conservation and sustainable management topics.

 

Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 6 months
