Introduction
Country: Bangladesh
Description of the Assignment: The overall objective of hiring the National Consultant is to review the Laws related to CHT, how to harmonize them in line with the spirit of CHT Peace Accord, laws emerged through the Peace Accord, rules and regulations of the institutions (e.g. CHT Regional Council, Hill District Councils of Bandarban, Khagrachari and Rangamati, CHT Land Dispute Resolution Commission etc). The specific goal is to provide a roadmap to the Ministry of CHT Affairs (MoCHTA) for harmonization of the laws, getting the rules and regulations of the CHT institutions be approved and they are applied for discharging their duties properly.
Period of assignment/services: 60 days over a period of 4 (four) months
