Introduction

Develop a Learner Management System (LMS) and Student Management System (SMS) for Sri Lanka Law College.

For over 150 years, the Sri Lanka Law College (SLLC) has been the cornerstone of legal education in Sri Lanka. Its mandate includes training students to become qualified legal professionals through structured academic programs. Traditionally, SLLC has relied on manual, paper-based processes for admissions, course management, and student evaluations. However, as the legal profession evolves in response to technological advancements, so too must the infrastructure of legal education.

 The development of a Learner Management System (LMS) and Student Management System (SMS) under JURE will facilitate the transition of the Sri Lanka Law College (SLLC) from manual to digital processes. The LMS / SMS will provide a centralized platform for managing academic and administrative operations, enhancing the learning experience, and ensuring efficient governance of the SLLC’s educational activities. The system will include core functionalities such as student enrollment, curriculum management, financial handling, course delivery, and academic performance tracking.

  Objective;

The objective of this assignment is to design, develop, and deploy a comprehensive LMS and SMS tailored to the specific needs of SLLC. This will address both academic and administrative functions, offering an integrated platform for students, faculty, and administrators.
