Description of the Assignment:  The primary objective of the National Consultant-Environmental Policy Expert is to Conduct a comprehensive Policy and Institutional Review (PIR) to identify major biodiversity-related policies, legal frameworks, and existing finance solutions, ensuring alignment with the latest version of the BIOFIN Workbook. Provide initial inputs to develop the Biodiversity Finance Plan (BFP), including critical stakeholder analysis for the Biodiversity Expenditure Review (BER) and prioritization of policies in alignment with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. And contribute to the refinement of the BIOFIN methodological framework by offering detailed feedback, incorporating national priorities, and producing high-quality drafts and analyses for review by the Senior Finance Expert and BIOFIN Global Team.

 

Period of assignment/services: 65 days in 06 months
