Introduction
UNDP Iraq is looking for a professional service provider to support the implementation of the Capacity building- Engineering and Environment Training Package in Iraq. The aim and objectives of Engineering and Environment Training Package training are to equip Nineveh directorates’ staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage financial resources, lead and manage teams, and make use of information and communication technology. These trainings aim is to build staff capacity and broaden their knowledge and improve their everyday work effectiveness and efficiency. This package includes two types of training, (1) engineering courses in installing and maintaining various electrical and mechanical systems, health and safety regulations in the workplace and engineering quality assurance and control. (2) Environment course in sustainable growth and development: the goals, indicators and aspects, pollution prevention and control, renewable energy and sustainable development, energy management in sustainable buildings, sustainable development and climate change.
