Description of the Assignment: “Adaptation Initiative for Climate Vulnerable Offshore Small Islands and Riverine Charland in Bangladesh” is a five-year project implemented by the Department of Environment (DoE) under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. It started in January 2023 and is financed by the Adaptation Fund. The project's main objective is to enhance the climate resilience of vulnerable communities who live on coastal islands and riverine chars in Bangladesh. The objective of this consultancy is to secure land for infrastructure development by navigating regulatory processes, liaising with government and community stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with local legal and environmental standards

 

Period of assignment/services: 60 working days over 10 months

 

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
