Introduction
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites qualified firms to submit proposals for the design and installation of Africa Week at the Osaka Expo 2025. The selected firm will be responsible for the design and setup of exhibition spaces within the UN Pavilion, production of digital exhibition content, development and operationalization of an AI-enabled interactive system, and creation and maintenance of a dedicated website to showcase visitor-generated content. The project aims to engage Japanese and international audiences, particularly students, in a dynamic and interactive exploration of Africa’s future, fostering cross-cultural exchange through digital innovation and storytelling. The contract duration is seven months (April – October 2025), with Africa Week scheduled for 17 – 24 August 2025.
Interested suppliers should register on the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) and submit their proposals following the instructions provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP) document. The RFP, including detailed requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission guidelines, will be available on the UNDP Procurement Notices website and UNGM. Suppliers are encouraged to carefully review the RFP document and submit any clarification requests before the deadline. Proposals must be submitted electronically via UNDP’s designated procurement portal, ensuring compliance with the specified submission format and deadlines.
