Country: Nauru
Description of the Assignment:
1. Support the Regional Policing Consultant with the baseline assessment
a. Translate the questionnaires for our target audience from English into Nauruan (local
language)
b. Set up meetings in Nauru for the Regional Policing Consultant
c. Support the Regional Policing Consultant with data collection, community consultations, and
stakeholder engagements
d. Provide overall guidance on the cultural and traditional nuances that UNDP has to be aware
of.
2. Provide inputs to the draft report
a. Provide technical inputs to the draft Community Policing Research Report especially with the
language and tone of the report.
b. Support the organization of, and facilitation at, the CP feedback session where the draft
report is presented back to key stakeholders
c. Provide inputs to the final report reflecting views and inputs of the NPF and whole of society.
Period of assignment/services: 15 working days during 2 months
