Introduction
This RFP intends to engage a Qualified National Consultancy Firm for Analytical Work and Drafting of Zambia NDC 3.0.
The main scope of this tender is to engage a qualified National consultancy firm to conduct comprehensive analytical studies that will form the technical foundation for Zambia’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) 3.0. The consultancy firm will provide sector-specific, gender-responsive recommendations for climate mitigation and adaptation across key sectors including energy, transport, tourism, mining, infrastructure, industry, water, and waste management. The work involves reviewing existing national and international research, conducting advanced modelling and feasibility assessments, and proposing actionable sectoral targets and strategies, including those addressing climate finance and circular economy. The consultancy firm will also play a critical role in supporting the development of the draft NDC 3.0 outline and roadmap, ensuring alignment with national priorities and stakeholder input. This tender offers a unique opportunity for suppliers to contribute to Zambia’s climate ambition and play a pivotal role in shaping sustainable development pathways.
