Introduction

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP/PAPP) supports public health initiatives in the Gaza Strip by strengthening pest control efforts. To this end, UNDP seeks qualified suppliers to provide and deliver pesticides and related materials to specific operational areas across Gaza.
This procurement's objective is to ensure the availability of high-quality materials necessary for conducting insects and rodent control campaigns effectively and safely.

Scope of Work: The selected supplier(s) shall supply and deliver pesticides and associated materials to the following areas:
  • Lot 1: Gaza City and Northern Gaza Governorates.
  • Lot 2: Middle and Southern Gaza Governorates.
Deliveries must be made within the designated operational zones, ensuring the materials are ready for immediate use and fully compliant with international health, safety, and environmental standards.

Required Team Description for the Supply and Mixing of Pesticides:
    1.    Number of Personnel:
The awarded bidder must provide a minimum of five (5) personnel to work at the pesticide mixing and preparation site, as designated by the JSC. All team members must be equipped with the necessary disinfection and personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the work period and after completion, in compliance with municipal health and safety requirements.
    2.    Designated Technical Supervisor:
The bidder shall appoint a responsible individual to serve as the primary liaison with the supervising authority. This individual must meet the following criteria:
    •    Hold at least a diploma-level qualification, preferably in public health, environmental sciences, or a related field.
    •    The bidder must submit the full name, mobile number, and place of residence of the designated individual.
    •    This person must be present on-site, ensuring proper implementation of the mixing procedures and full adherence to safety and environmental standards.

The duration period is 30 calendar days.
