Introduction

INVITATION TO BID - Provision of Travel Management Services

for the United Nations Offices and its subsidiary organs in Sri Lanka through a Long-Term Agreement (ITB/JPT/2506/48)

The United Nations Agencies facilitate international and domestic air travel related services for their personnel, consultants on official duty, staff and dependents, as well as support travel costs for their implementing partners worldwide, in line with their programmatic assistance mandate.

To ensure the continued delivery of high-quality travel services, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), on behalf of the United Nations, intends to contract a qualified Travel Management Service Provider on a long-term basis.

To this effect, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Country Office in Sri Lanka wishes to call for Invitation to Bid from qualified travel management service providers to provide the required travel related services. Subsequent to the evaluation and bidding process, the UNDP wishes to enter in to Long Term Agreements with the selected Service Providers for an initial period of one year, extendable to two additional years for a maximum of three years subsequent to successful annual performance reviews and appraisals.

This procurement process is being conducted through Online Tendering System of UNDP and detailed instructions can be accessed from www.undp.org/srilanka > procurement > procurement notices> UNDP-LKA-00513 (ITB/JPT/2506/48). All relevant information including the details of pre-bid conference is accessible by navigating through the tender event.

Bids may be submitted on or before the deadline indicated in the system directly in the portal.  It is your responsibility to ensure that your bid is submitted before the deadline. Offers received after the submission deadline outside the online portal  or by hard copies, for whatever reason, will not be considered for evaluation.

Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system. This will enable the system to send notifications in case of amendments of the tender requirements.
