Introduction
Rental of three 4-ton trucks for 4 districts in Cabo Delgado
UNDP as part of the stabilization project intends to hire qualified service providers to submit quotations for the rental of three (3) 4-ton trucks. These vehicles will support logistics operations related to the implementation of construction activities by transporting materials and goods in the districts of Palma, Mocimboa da Praia, Nangade, and Muidumbe.
Objectives
-To ensure the availability of reliable and roadworthy transport means for project logistics.
- To contract a capable service provider that can deliver consistent and uninterrupted transport support across all specified districts.
- To contribute to the successful and timely implementation of construction activities by transporting materials and goods by minimizing delays caused by transportation challenges.
Scope of Work
The selected supplier shall provide three (3) 4-ton trucks with drivers and fuel included, to operate across the following districts in Cabo Delgado Province, Mozambique: Palma, Mocímboa da Praia, Nangade, and Muidumbe. Each district will require 2 weeks of continuous service, with full availability during working hours.
Expected Results
- Three (3) 4-ton trucks fully deployed and operational in district of Palma, Nangade, Mocimbua da Praia and Muidumbe as per the project schedule.
- Efficient and safe transportation of materials and other goods across Palma, Mocímboa da Praia, Nangade, and Muidumbe.
- Completion of transport assignments within the designated period without delays or service interruptions.
-Support the construction works in Palma Sede and Mute on the Movements of material and other goods within the districts
