Description of Services
- Overall event concept & design: creative theme, event flow, and ambiance design.
- Venue management: coordination for optimal use of the auditorium space.
- Guest management:
- Invitation design, printing/digital distribution, and RSVP tracking.
- On-site registration desk setup, equipment (laptops, printers), and dedicated staff for check-in.
- Technical production
- Sound (1 set): professional LINE ARRAY FBT system (8 speakers, 4 subs), DJ equipment, live music support, cocktail reception sound, microphones, translation booth (50 FM receivers).
- Lighting (1 set): comprehensive lighting for theatre, cocktail, and entrance areas
- LED screens (50 sqm): high-resolution (P2.6 or better).
- Digital podium (1 Unit).
- Catering & hospitality (for 250 guests)
- Catering: canapes, finger food, soft drinks (pass arounds). Must be by Intercontinental Hotel standards or equivalent quality caterer.
- Cocktail tables (30 units).
- Seating cushions (250 units).
- Staging & Set-up:
- Staging (30 square meters): professional finish (carpet, wood, hidden light, etc.).
- Entertainment & personnel
- Media & content production:
- Coordinate with the project’s videographer: make sure to get the coverage of the entire event, including editing and final delivery of high-resolution photos and video.
- Media relations support: coordinate with the project’s communication company for Basic press kit setup, media accreditation assistance, media backdrop/step-and-repeat banner in coordination with the communication company of the project.

BACKGROUND:
UNDP provides integrated programmatic, policy and financing solutions to realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this context, UNDP has created a Global Policy Network (GPN), a network of field-based and global technical expertise across a wide range of knowledge domains and in support of the signature solutions and organizational capabilities envisioned in the Strategic Plan. The Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS) and the Crisis Bureau (CB) are the two anchor Bureaus of the GPN.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is supporting the Great Amman Municipality to implement its “Amman is listening” project, one of the winners of the 2021 Global Mayors Challenge.
Amman is listening is an open data participatory platform designed to better understand residents’ needs and providing feedback on services and events in their immediate vicinity. The platform will enable Amman’s residents to provide real-time feedback on critical city services, contributing to optimize service provision and manage crises by translating resident-driven data into knowledge to contribute to local decision-making.
The Great Amman Municipality is looking for a service provider to manage the official launch ceremony of Amman is listening platform.
The SDG Local Action project for a provider to manage the ceremony of launch of the Amman is Listening Platform in Amman, Jordan on 26 August 2025.
OBJECTIVE:
The objectives of the event are:
- Officially launch the "Amman is Listening" application and digital platform.
- Generate media attention and public awareness about the new service.
- Showcase the app's features and benefits.
- Engage key stakeholders (public officials, tech leaders, community, etc.).
The event will be held in The Stone Amphitheater in Al-Hussein Park, King Abdallah second St. on August 26th 2025.
