Introduction
NIC registration, public outreach initiatives, and the delivery of Civic and Voter Education sessions will be carried out across 15 districts; 5 in Sindh (Karachi West, Sanghar, Mirpur Khas, Ghotki, Khairpur), 4 in Balochistan (Quetta, Jaffarabad, Pishin, Lasbela), and 5 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Peshawar, Shangla, Swat, Khyber, Battagram), and the Islamabad Capital Territory.This initiative seeks to assist 25,000 women and marginalized individuals in obtaining their National Identity Cards (NICs) and voter registration, thereby improving their access to essential services and enabling their inclusion in the electoral process.
In parallel, the organization will be responsible to run public outreach campaigns and Civic and Voter Education sessions with local community focusing on Civic and Voter Education (CVE) and voter registration mobilization to be carried out with the local communities in these districts to inform communities about the importance of NIC registration, their voting rights, electoral processes, and to encourage their active participation in democratic process.
