Scope of Work
A. Summary of Requirements.
Requirements are comprised of the following Lots for each of the three (3) sites (Salia Village, Kioa; Yadrana, Lakeba, Lau; Yacata, Cakaudrove):
- Lot 1: Supply and Installation of Solar Mini-Grid System and Communication Infrastructure for Salia Village on Kioa Island in the Fiji Islands(16°40'5.74"S, 179°54'7.01"E) .
- Lot 2: Supply and Installation of Solar Mini-Grid System and Communication Infrastructure for Yacata Village on Yacata Island in the Fiji Islands (-17.258717, -179.507264).
- Lot 3: Supply and Installation of Solar Mini-Grid System and Communication Infrastructure for Yadrana Village on Lakeba Island in the Fiji Islands (18°11'23.56"S, 178°46'31.79"W).
In addition, the selected supplier(s) for each Lot will:
- Provide on-the-job training to designated community technicians of each site on basic operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the respective system(s).
- Enter a separate Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contract with the Fijian Government (or its designated entity) for a minimum period of five (5) to seven (7) years post-commissioning for the Lot(s) they construct. This O&M contract will be based on the O&M plan and annual O&M fee submitted as part of this tender.
- Bidders are requested to submit a comprehensive proposal covering all aspects for the Lot(s) they bid on, including the proposed multi-year O&M services and annual fees.
- Enter a separate Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contract with the Fijian Government (or its designated entity) for a minimum period of five (5) to seven (7) years post-commissioning for the Lot(s) they construct.
