Engineering Supervision Services to UNDP GF Construction Projects
GF/RFQ/25/014
The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (GF), established in 2002, is an innovative public–private partnership aimed at providing additional resources to combat HIV/AIDS, TB, and Malaria.
Since 2003, the Global Fund has partnered with UNDP to ensure the effective implementation of grants and the delivery of services in countries facing complex challenges. UNDP is often called upon to serve as an interim Principal Recipient in countries with complex emergencies or exceptional circumstances, where no suitable local entity can be identified. In this role, UNDP Country Offices (COs) are responsible for implementing infrastructure projects to support resilient and sustainable health system strengthening.
Through the TB, HIV, and C19RM grant, the Global Fund has allocated funds for the renovation, rehabilitation, and construction of Medical PSA plants, Incinerator and renovation of health facilities and laboratories. UNDP is seeking the services of a locally registered Sudanese engineering firm to provide engineering supervision and monitoring of these construction sites on behalf of the UNDP Country Office in Sudan.
