Project Title:
Support to the Common Management Unit (CMU) for AIDS, TB and Malaria, Ministry of Health, Government of Pakistan in Procurement, and Installation of Oxygen Generation Plants in Pakistan
Background of Project:
UNDP has been approached by the Common Management Unit (CMU) for Aids, TB and Malaria, Ministry of Health (MoH), with the support from the Global Fund to assist the government with the procurement and installation of 36 oxygen generation plants in Pakistan. The project will cover the site assessment, procurement, delivery, installation, training, and maintenance. The oxygen generations plants will be installed in four provinces of Pakistan and its capital city Islamabad, which will enhance the capacity of public hospitals to cope with high oxygen demand.
In particular, the project will focus on the following:
- To finalize the specifications of the oxygen generation plants.
- To develop and implement the sourcing strategy for the procurement of oxygen generation plants and associated technical equipment.
- To provide procurement, shipping, delivery, installation and commissioning support of the oxygen generation plants.
- To provide training, maintenance of the oxygen generation plants.
Below is the list of 36 hospital where these Oxygen plants will install. AMEX with collaboration their local partners will undertake civil work in selected government hospital facilities. Expected timeline for the completion of this assignment is 31st December 2023. Layout design of this civil work on location is attached including measurements.
