Introduction

Scope of work, duties and responsibilities 

 

The scope of work, roles, and responsibilities of the expert recruited under this Project are:  

 

  1. Mapping of the RRR landscape in Malaysia: 

  1. Detail current legislation, policies and national frameworks related to the RRR of refrigerants, existing RRR operational procedures of all reclaim centres in Malaysia and their business models.  

  1. Gather information and detail the current demand for refrigerants and the RRR needs, specified by each HCFC. 

  1. Assess gaps related to the current RRR practices and operational procedures in Malaysia and study best practices from other countries for comparison.  

  1. Analyse international RRR best practices and make recommendation on a harmonised and streamlined guideline for RRR activities and processes for Malaysia.
