UNDP is supporting the Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro in an innovative project to strengthen digital service delivery and improve access to essential municipal services for vulnerable residents thanks to the development of AI-driven and chatbot-based solutions.
UNDP is seeking a local supplier in Brazil to provide computer equipment for the project´s technical team, enabling the team to further analyze data, integrate AI solutions with municipal systems, and produce actionable insights to improve access to essential services for vulnerable residents in Rio de Janeiro.
The equipment shall include four (4) laptops equipped for high-performance data processing, AI tool development, integration with municipal systems, and operation of conversational workflows on WhatsApp. This setup will enable the technical team to efficiently perform research, testing, monitoring, and analysis activities to identify informational barriers, expand service access, and deliver actionable recommendations for scalable digital solutions to better serve the city´s residents.
The service will also include delivery, configuration, and initial operational support for the technical team.

BACKGROUND:
UNDP provides integrated programmatic, policy and financing solutions to realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this context, UNDP has created a Global Policy Network (GPN), a network of field-based and global technical expertise across a wide range of knowledge domains and in support of the signature solutions and organizational capabilities envisioned in the Strategic Plan.
