Introduction

UNDP Bhutan on behalf of the United Nations System in Bhutan mainly, UNICEF, UNFPA, WFP, FAO and, RCO would like to seek quotations from registered and experienced national (Bhutanese) service providers for the provision of Professional Cleaning Services to the United Nations in Bhutan. Please find below the brief scope of work and are encouraged to review the attached detailed scope of work for the services.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), on behalf of United Nations in Bhutan is seeking a proposal from the local registered and eligible cleaning service provider for professional cleaning services to the United Nations in Bhutan, located at Peling Lam, Kawangjangsa, Thimphu, Bhutan.

 United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Bhutan on behalf of UN agencies housed in United Nations House, Peling Lam, Kawajangsa, Thimphu Bhutan intends to enter into LTA – Long Term Agreement for Professional Cleaning Services for a period of initial two years with possibility of extension for additional one year based on satisfactory performance. The successful proposer shall enter in a contractual agreement with UNDP Bhutan for the professional cleaning services on the acceptance of the UNDP General Terms and Conditions.

Scope of services and expected output.

The contractor shall provide professional cleaning services to United Nations in Bhutan covering an area of approximate 1892 square meters including exterior compound, each comprised of corridors, toilets, conference room, all internal glass panels, windows (internal/external) doors and cabinets of the UN Agency offices.
