Introduction

LONG TERM AGREEMENT FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF ICT EQUIPMENT IN THE UN HOUSE, ABUJA

UNDP Nigeria Country Office is seeking to establish Long-Term Agreements (LTA) with qualified and experienced vendors for the provision of preventive maintenance and repair services for Information Technology (IT) equipment. This initiative is designed to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of critical IT infrastructure, thereby minimizing service disruptions and maximizing the lifespan of essential equipment. The selected service provider may also be required to provide similar scope of services at and other UN offices in Nigeria.

To encourage specialized participation and ensure high-quality service delivery, the requirement is divided into three distinct lots, and prospective vendors may submit proposals for one or more of the following:

Lot 1 – Desktop and Laptop Computers

Lot 2 – Printing, Digital Senders, and Photocopier Services

Lot 3 – Telecom, Network, and ICT Infrastructure Services

The selected vendors will be required to perform all services in accordance with UN operational standards, ensure compliance with data security protocols, and follow environmentally sustainable practices. This approach allows vendors to focus on their areas of technical expertise while ensuring that the UNCS and participating agencies benefit from specialized, high-quality, and cost-effective services.

The resultant contract will be signed between the selected company (hereinafter known as the Service Provider) and United Nations Development Programme Nigeria (hereinafter known as the lead Agency).

The contract is proposed on a Long-Term Agreement Modality (LTA) for an initial period of one year (1) renewable up to two years in total. The LTA is subject to a 6-month probatory period.
