Introduction
UNDP-TLS-00243 Individual Consultant (IC) Gender Expert for Gender Study on Energy (Impact of Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency on Gender Equality in Timor-Leste)
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Timor-Leste is implementing the Project: Promoting Green Transformation in the Pacific Region towards Net-zero and Climate-resilient Development which requires the services of a Local Gender Expert for Gender Study on Energy (Impact of Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency on Gender Equality in Timor-Leste). The Local Gender Expert will work with an International Gender Expert and provide critical in-country support to complete data collection activities for the gender study. Data collection will focus on assessing the gender impacts of the project activities in around 20 villages, 15 schools, 2 health posts, and 1 National Medical Warehouse in the capital Dili and Ainaro, Manatuto, and Manufahi municipalities. The consultant will work under the supervision of the UNDP Communications Team to enhance visibility and outreach through high-quality visual content.
UNDP therefore hereby invite interested and qualified individuals to submit an offer for this assignment.
Country: Timor-Leste
Duration of assignment: Approximately 28 working days during a period 2 months from contract issuance (September to October 2025).
