Supplying, installing, commissioning (including complete infrastructure works), and after-sales services for the solar PV system at the UN Cabo Verde Office. 

The UN Cabo Verde Office, in collaboration with the UNDP ITM Green Energy Team, has taken initial steps toward expanding the solar PV system at its premises. The system will comprise of a 40.92 kWp solar PV array for the parking lot of the UN office in Cabo Verde, to be installed in addition to the existing 32.5 kWp system.

The Terms of Reference (TOR) sets the requirements to facilitate smart and clean energy solutions to secure activities in UN Cabo Verde Office by supplying, installing, commissioning (including complete infrastructure works), and after-sales services for the solar PV system at the UN Cabo Verde Office. An overall high-quality system is expected, as the system will be a showcase for other compounds.  

The vendor shall submit a comprehensive proposal for a turnkey solar PV solution based on the following scope of work: 

1.Supply and delivery of a solar PV system with a capacity of 40.92 kWp

2.Installation, User Acceptance Test (UAT), and Commissioning of the complete system

3.Integration of the complete system into the facility and existing power supply

4.Provision of bi-annual preventive maintenance visits and after-sales service by the local partner, supplemented by two (2) additional cleaning visits per year, resulting in a total of four (4) visits annually (for 3 years). Training of the users on system operation and basic maintenance to ensure first-level response and maintenance oversight.

     • Main Site Visit (Compulsory): Tuesday, 30 September 2025, at 3pm local time

     • Bidders’ Conference: Thursday, 2 October 2025, at 11am local time (Zoom Meeting: https://undp.zoom.us/j/86516161811 - Meeting ID: 865 1616 1811)

     • 2nd Optional Site Visit: Thursday, 9 October 2025, at 3pm local time

     • Last day to Request for Clarification: Wednesday, 14 October 2025.
