Introduction
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and supported by the European Union (EU). The programme connects highly skilled young graduates with structured 12-month job placements across private and public sector institutions, aiming to foster youth employability, stimulate economic participation, and build a pipeline of future-ready Nigerian talent.
Building on lessons learned from NJFP Phase 1, which successfully placed thousands of fellows across Nigeria, NJFP 2.0 introduces a more robust design focusing on data-driven assessments, federal character compliance, and enhanced programme visibility. To ensure national reach, inclusivity, transparency, and stakeholder confidence, strategic communication is a critical enabler.
Against this backdrop, UNDP seeks to engage a highly experienced Strategic Communications Consultant to lead the design and delivery of a communications strategy that balances amplification, sensitivity management, and impact storytelling, while mitigating reputational risks and ensuring diverse stakeholder engagement.
