Introduction

Dear Supplier,

The UNDP South Sudan CO, in collaboration with the UNDP ITM Green Energy Team, has implemented a solar PV system at its premises. The system is connected to an oversized diesel generator, which will now be replaced with the 290kVa generator, operated remotely by the system.

The primary objective of the smart solar turnkey PV system is to deliver a reliable and cost-effective green energy solution, enhanced with integrated smart features such as security and adaptability. As it is intended to serve as a national and international showcase, UNDP ITM requires high quality and performance standards. This document defines the site specific information, minimum technical requirements and installation requirements for the project.

The system is designed to enhance the energy supply for the UNDP premises. At present, the compound relies on a solar PV system with generators integrated into the systems. This generator is meant to replace one of the oversized generators on site.

The vendor shall submit a comprehensive proposal for a Diesel Generator based on the following scope of work:

Supply and delivery (DPU incoterms) of a Diesel Generator with a capacity of 290 kVa

Vendors are required to confirm their acknowledgment and understanding of all requirements by completing a compliance checklist (Appendix I), and commit to adhering to the activities, deliverables, and timelines specified throughout this document.

All the requirements will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis, so if compliant with the requirements set, the supplier's quote needs to attach proofs of compliance.
