Long Term Agreement for Cleaning and Maintenance Services
The United Nations Country Team (UNCT) in the Philippines consists of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Resident Coordinator's Office (UNRCO), United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), United Nations Information Centre (UNIC), United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UNWomen), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). To maintain a clean and healthy environment at the UN Premises, the UNCT seeks to engage a qualified service provider to deploy a team of cleaning personnel. The UNDP, as the lead agency for maintenance and janitorial services, shall conduct the procurement process on behalf of the UN agencies.
The cleaning services shall cover the following locations at the Rockwell Business Center Sheridan North Tower (United corner Sheridan Streets, Brgy. Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City, Philippines):
• UN House (14th & 15th Floors): Approx. 4,879.70 sqm
• UNDP SHIELD Office (16th Floor): Approx. 197.20 sqm
• UNDP EU-GEPP Office (16th Floor): Approx. 109.42 sqm
The required services shall be rendered on an eight (8) hour basis from Monday to Saturday except UN holidays.
It shall employ and deploy a minimum of 1 supervisor and a team of cleaning crew (14th-15th floors: 8; 16th floor UNDP SHIELD: 1; 16th floor UNDP EU-GEPP: 1) who meets the qualifications below. The contractor must determine the number of cleaning crew but no less than 8 personnel for 14th-15th floors and no less than 1 personnel each for 16th floor UNDP SHIELD and UNDP EU-GEPP, based on the office size per floor.
