Scope of the study
The Tracer Study and Employer Perception Survey will follow randomly selected graduates from both institution and community-based training who graduated in 2024 and 2025 and will encompass all project locations: Bor, Juba, Rumbek, Torit, Yambio, Wau, and Malakal. It will examine the labour market participation of project graduates and their contribution to local economic development through SME creation, self-employment, and new job generation among both male and female beneficiaries. The tracer study will also assess graduate satisfaction with skills and employment training, the quality of business start-up support, training delivery processes, and the availability and adequacy of standardized training curricula.
In addition, the study will evaluate the relevance and effectiveness of the training delivery approaches and modalities, particularly in promoting youth employment and empowerment. An employer perception survey will be conducted to assess the employability of graduates trained across the various project streams.
The Tracer study results will be used to feed into the SEED4Youth mid-term review.
