Description of the Assignment:  The purpose of this ToR (Terms of Reference) is to secure the services of an expert to support the Directorate for Payments of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management (MAFWM). The expert will analyse the legal framework regulating the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and identify permitted actions, limitations, and restrictions, if any, in using UAVs for monitoring farms and arable land subject to subsidies and payments through MAFWM support programs. Additionally, the expert will develop technical specifications for the procurement of a UAV system to be used for this purpose.

 

Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 17 April 2023 - 15 June 2023
