Introduction
The service provider will be responsible for designing and executing an integrated M&E program comprising three core components: Performance Monitoring, Outcome Evaluation, and Learning & Knowledge Feedback. The scope explicitly covers the deployment of equipment (32 Automatic Feeders, 5 AI Automatic Feeders, 1 Mini Processing Facility, and 1 Flo cam cyano) and technologies across both farm-level and research-level environments. The service provider will work with, and consult with local ecosystem partners to ensure accuracy, inclusivity, and alignment with national and bilateral priorities.
The Strategic Approach to the M&E program centres on a Results-Based and Learning-Oriented Framework for the Japan–South Africa Collaboration. Under this framework, deployment and utilisation of equipment and technologies can be tracked, tested, validated, and continuously improved through evidence-based feedback loops, across all confirmed sites, ensuring both farm-level and research-level insights are integrated.
