Introduction

UNDP Vietnam is looking for a qualified National Provincial Expert on agricultural commodities in Lam Dong, Viet Nam.


With the support from the EU, UNDP is implementing the “Integrated sustainable landscape management through deforestation-free jurisdiction project in Lam Dong and Dak Nong Viet Nam” project (iLandscape project) in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Dak Nong and Lam Dong provinces and international organizations including CIAT, EFI, IDH and UNEP. The project is to improve environmental sustainability and social inclusion and resilience of food production models and supply chains in the Central Highlands of Vietnam.


To provide technical support to operation of iLandscape project in Lam Dong province and collaboration between UNDP and IDH Vietnam on works related to agricultural commodities. Expected results are:

     Four main public-private platforms and commodity platforms, including coffee, pepper and other crops;

     Surveys and data to ensure compliance with EUDR requirements for the coffee sector;

     A traceability system for coffee the project target area;

     Sustainable cash crops production (farming interventions) in project area in Lam Dong province;

     Project monthly, quarterly and yearly reports and workplans and updated of project Log-Frame.


The expert will work in close collaboration with the Project Manager in charge of the iLandscape project in UNDP Viet Nam, IDH Vietnam, Lam Dong provincial project management unit (PPMU), the project technical officers and advisors, government officials, development partners and civil society to provide technical inputs for the implementation of the iLandscape project in Lam Dong on works related to agricultural commodities. 

 

Period of assignment/services: 85 working days (from November 2025 to March 2026).

Female consultants are encouraged to bid for this required service. Preference will be given to equally technically qualified female consultants.
