Scope of the study
The purpose of the Peace and Conflict Analysis (PCA) is to generate a robust, context-specific understanding of conflict dynamics, drivers of fragility, and pathways to peace in the geographic areas targeted by the Rural Enterprises for Agricultural Development (READ) programme. As a foundational diagnostic, the PCA will directly inform the delivery and adaptation of project interventions, ensuring they are conflict-sensitive, inclusive, and peace-responsive. The PCA will also examine the broader rural finance ecosystem in South Sudan to ensure that lessons and recommendations apply beyond the immediate READ target counties, to inform national approaches to promoting inclusive rural financial systems.
