Introduction
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Mozambique is launching a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Correction Works of Defects in four (4) TB Waiting Shelters located in Anchilo, Chalaua, Murrupula, and Nametil Health Centers, Nampula Province.
The objective of this project is to correct existing defects and improve the overall functionality and safety of the TB Waiting Shelters previously constructed under the Health Portfolio interventions.
The works aim to ensure that all shelters are fully operational and compliant with UNDP quality, resilience, and safety standards, in line with WHO recommendations for facilities supporting respiratory disease treatment.
The scope of works includes civil, electrical, and hydraulic corrections, such as:

Replacement of damaged precast concrete benches;

Renewal of cracked or defective floors;

Repair and reconnection of hand washbasins and water supply;

Rust removal and painting of sinks;

Protection of exposed electrical installations.
All correction works for the four TB Waiting Shelters shall be implemented under a single contract, and completion shall occur simultaneously within the stipulated timeframe.

The RFQ has been amended to reflect the following updates: Extension of the submission deadline from 19 November 2025 to 28 November 2025. Revision of the Site Visit schedule: The site visit originally planned for 17 November 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00, has been rescheduled to 21 November 2025, between 09:00 and 13:00.
