Introduction

Event Management and Logistics Support for Young Africa Innovates (YAI) – State Showcases Borno, Kaduna, Kwara

The Young Africa Innovates (YAI) programme, implemented by UNDP Nigeria in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is a flagship youth innovation initiative designed to identify, incubate, and scale youth-led solutions that drive inclusive and sustainable development across Nigeria. The programme aims to empower young innovators, particularly those from traditionally marginalized backgrounds, to refine and commercialize their innovations, ensuring that no one is left behind in creating transformative solutions.

Following a successful incubation phase that engaged over 205 youth innovators nationwide and as part of this next milestone, UNDP Nigeria, together with its implementing partners, will host State Showcases across states. These showcases will provide a platform for innovators to present their solutions, connect with investors, and engage state-level stakeholders to promote local innovation ecosystems.

The scope of work involves end-to-end event management for the Young Africa Innovates State Showcases, to be held across seven states in December 2025 beginning from 2nd December – 18th December 2025.

Each event will highlight selected innovators, engage development partners, policymakers, and the private sector, and showcase innovation as a driver for socio-economic growth. An event company would be engaged in handling the showcase in the Northern region. (Borno, Kaduna, Kwara)
