Introduction
Title: Multi-Hazard Vulnerability and Risk Assessment for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Maharashtra, INDIA.
Objective: The main objective of the proposed multi-hazard risk and vulnerability assessment is to assess the extent of risk and the vulnerabilities of Mumbai. The scope of the exercise also includes the projected climate change scenarios (short-term, medium term and long term) taking into account the past trends so that the recommended solutions and actions could be linked with the Disaster Management policy, sectoral planning and implementation of multi-hazard risk mitigation initiatives at community, ward and city levels.
A pre-proposal conference has been scheduled for April 14, 2023 at 03.00 PM (IST) through Zoom Meeting.
